Why Not Us?

Well, I have to admit I am not a big sports fanatic! I do however like to check in on some teams now and then so I can at least know what others are talking about. The Super Bowl was one of those times. Go Hawks!

Reading through my mail today I came across an article that was so inspiring. It was an after game interview with Russell Wilson, he said his dad always said to him, "Why not you Russell?" From the beginning of the season he passed that on to his teammates, "Why not us?"

It reminds me of the movie Evan Almighty. Evan would look into the mirror every morning and speak words of encouragement and affirmation to himself. He would proclaim his success and well being.

We can all use a little affirmation and encouragement. When we encourage and affirm others as well as ourselves through-out our day we can speak success and well being into our lives.
