I often find myself daydreaming about what I want to be when I grow up. I know some people consider me to be a "senior citizen" but I know I'm still learning and growing.
As I ponder on tomorrow I decide to make a list; 1.clean the house 2. pick up mail 3. write one hour for my book. 4. write a page for my blog ......
I try to plan for what I hope to accomplish each day. I write down short term goals, long term goals as well.
I have found that if I don't make plans and set goals and priorities I tend to get little accomplished. I end up procrastinating then feel bad at the end of the day if I didn't get anything done.
One day when I was feeling down on myself for not accomplishing anything this thought came to mind: "Great goals with good intention, plus procrastination, equals failure."
I am reminded of this whenever I start to put things off for tomorrow that I could accomplish today.
I am so much more productive when I listen to the quiet voice inside (the spirit of God) encouraging me to become all I have been created to be.
