Suddenly Changed

Through God nothing we need to change is impossible. As I pray for wisdom and guidance and trust in His help, I receive the direction and help I need to succeed.

We have been on the Oregon coast. Over the last couple of weeks, the storms have rolled in one after the other. When we had a break in the weather we headed out for some fresh air and sunshine. Today we took another walk on the beach where we had walked yesterday. Yesterday the beach was strewn with debris, today it was as though a giant beach sweeper came in and swept the whole beach perfectly clean.

That's the way it seems to be with me when I am seeking God's help to make the changes that are needed in my life.  While I am praising Him and listening for His direction, then following through with His instruction  I just wake upon morning and realize the changes had been made. The old things were sweep away and a newness of life, fresh ways of thinking and doing, had taken place in my life.

 I pray for  us to all continue being transformed into the image of Christ,  that our "old man" will continue to pass away and our "new man" will come into being until we all come into the unity of the faith.
