Growing Up Is A Processes

When we are young in our relationship with God, We do a lot of what we want. Like little children we grow up through a learning processes. We learn the stove burner is hot and it hurts when we touch it .

 We learn what is pleasing to God and whats not. Sin hurts like a hot burner. Hopefully, we learn the first time but we may find ourselves committing the same mistake over and over.

We learn some things are more difficult to overcome than others. We are not instantly a person who never makes mistakes or sins. Whats hard for me may be easy for someone else, and vice versa.

 The good news is; we have moved into a new part of our journey in this life. We have asked Jesus to come into our lives and forgive our past sins. We have a fresh start.We can also ask forgiveness for the sins we committe there-after. (1 John 1:9)

"Every new moment is an opportunity for a fresh start when Jesus is in it."

God is faithful to forgive us when we ask him to. We need to learn to forgive ourselves as well. When we forgive ourselves we free our hearts to keep growing and moving forward in our journey with Jesus.
