Does it seem as if the hard cold winter will never end......? The good news is that there are a time and season for everything under the heavens.(Ecclesiastes 3:1-6)
I'm discovering more and more when difficulties come; attitude has a lot to do with how I get through it. I have been choosing to stay focused on Gods' goodness, remind myself he has a plan for my good and not evil, and he will complete the work he started in me.
In Luke chapter 12:22-32; the disciples are instructed not to worry about their lives but look how God takes care of the birds and flowers. Consider that if he cares for them, he will care for us also. He knows everything we need of, but he wants us to "Seek His Kingdom" not what we need, as we do so then he will provide the things we need. (my paraphrase)
I have learned over the years God is faithful. Through experience, I have learned to be obedient. (Hebrews 5:8-9) The faith God gave me grows stronger every time he brings me through times of trouble. I learned to stay focused on Gods' goodness. Learning to be content with what I have and whatever season of life in my journey with him. (Hebrews 13:5)
Let us carry on seeking Gods' way, will and plan for our lives. What do we need to learn through times of trouble? Remember "If God is for us, who can be against us?
